Why study history?
In order to understand the complex world in which we live, you must have an understanding of the events that formed our society and culture. I’m here to help with that. Follow along on social media, receive regular blog updates, and tune in to the podcast to hear the stories that helped shape our world.
Podcast
I created History from Room 213: A 5 Minute Podcast to make it easy for educators to integrate podcasts into their lessons. Each episode is short, engaging, and full of standards based content. Listen with your students or while you’re on the go – in the car, doing dishes, or working out.
Blog
On my blog I share teaching tips, history related to the podcast topics, and recommendations for my favorite books, podcasts, and shows.
For Educators
I know that there is never enough prep time nor is there enough time in the year to fit in all of the standards. I’m here to help you create engaging lessons, differentiate instruction, and get your students excited about history.
